Michele Shannon has been in the field of education for 15 years. She has taught elementary school and high school mathematics. In the last 9 years she has worked as a school social worker, Director of Residential Life, and Assistant Principal. Pathways is part of a life-long dream to open and develop a school that educates the mind, body and soul of each student.

Principal Shannon is a product of the NYC Department of Education. She received her undergraduate degree from Bernard Baruch College of C.U.N.Y.; a Masters of Social Work from Hunter College of C.U.N.Y. School of Social Work and an Advanced Certificate in School Administration and Supervision from the NYC Leadership Academy at Baruch College of C.U.N.Y.

Principal Shannon grew up in South East Queens. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
